A day’s cruise upstream from Wanderlust’s base in Caversham is the English village of Goring-on-Thames.  Early in October, at the edge of fall, we moored overnight at Goring’s lock.  With the sounds of the water of the Thames rushing over the nearby weir filling the air we spent a peaceful night.

The beauty of owning a barge is the wide range of places where you can moor.   In Wanderlust we can stay in the heart of cities.  We can move our home to the middle of London, Paris, Amsterdam, and Toulouse.  She can also be tied to the bank
