Goring

A day’s cruise upstream from Wanderlust’s base in Caversham is the English village of Goring-on-Thames.  Early in October, at the edge of fall, we moored overnight at Goring’s lock.  With the sounds of the water of the Thames rushing over the nearby weir filling the air we spent a peaceful night.
